Most of the people in transport industry say that generally, ADR exceptions are not subject to any regulation.

Which is not true.

If you want to transport any hazardous substances on the road even if it is a single pack of dangerous goods you have to apply ADR regulations. Even though it is not subject to ADR regulations. You know why? ADR itself gives you the answer whether that certain substance is transportable on the road and if yes under what conditions.

You should know which part of the rules are applied.

But how can you get this information? By a general awareness training.

Yes. If you do not want to go for the ADR certificate but sometimes you transport few hazardous chemicals you should know the minimum requirement.

Who can provide this training?

The Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser of your company.
