Pay attention or pay the price.

As I mentioned in my previous blog there are few exemptions in ADR. In few cases, you don’t need to do anything. And there are some cases when you have to watch the relating regulations. Let’s see what to do and how to do.

The provisions laid down in ADR do not apply to the following exemptions:DSC01846

  • Exemptions related to the nature of the transport operation.
  • Exemptions related to the carriage of gases.
  • Exemptions related to the carriage of liquid fuels.
  • Exemptions related to empty uncleaned packagings.
  • Exemptions related to the carriage of electric energy storage and production systems.
  • Exemptions related to the carriage of lamps containing dangerous goods.

The following exemptions are regulated in ADR so we going to check one by one in the next blog post which regulations belong to these exemptions:

  • Exemptions related to special provisions or to dangerous goods packed in limited or excepted quantities.
  • Exemptions related to quantities carried per transport unit.
  • Exemptions related to dangerous goods used as a coolant or conditioner during carriage.
